The Tektronix TSI 8150 is a mainframe in which up to 10 relay driver cards may be installed.

The mainframe provides switching for various types of electrical signal. It is intended for use in automated test systems as it has no controls other the the GPIB connection on the rear and a power switch.

Built-in tests and controls are all done through GPIB. Options for switching include relays for DC as well as RF and microwave switching modules. The mainframe is capable of both direct control of the relays though GPIB, as well as programmed sequences. Connections to the device under test are connected through a Virginia Panel Interface mass interconnect.
