Many Tektronix instruments provide power for active probes. There have been several distinct versions of probe power.
- The 513 provides +225VDC, +6.3VDC, and a variable supply producing +15VDC to +150VDC.
- The 3S1 provides +100VDC and -12.2VDC.
- The 4S1 provides +100VDC, -12.6VDC, and -25.2VDC.
- 7000-series scopes (not all models) provide +15VDC, +5VDC, and -15VDC through a LEMO connector (plug FFA.0S.304.CLAC42, socket ERA.0S.304.CLL, →data sheet)
- TekProbe is a proprietary probe-scope interface that combines signal and probe power and provides the scope with information about the what type of probe is connected.
