John Addis is an engineer who worked for Tektronix (now retired).

designed the 1A7 (not the 1A7A, which was designed by Thor Hallen and is electrically similar to the 7A22). The 1A7 was Addis' first design at Tektronix.
designed the 7A11 amplifier
designed the 067-0681-01 pulse generator / calibration fixture
designed the 155-0078-xx (M84) amplifier chip
with Wink Gross, co-designed the vertical amplifier for the 485 (Ref 1)
responsible for vertical system in the 7104
with Wink Gross, co-designed the hybrid amplifiers for the 7104 (Ref 1)
M377 preamplifier IC for 11000-series scopes (Ref 2, Ref 1)
