Template:Plugin Sidebar 2 The Tektronix Type 5T1 is a timing plug-in for the 661 sampling oscilloscope.
It generates timing pulses which are sent to the sampling plug-in (4S1, 4S2, or 4S3). It was replaced by the 5T1A.
The 040-311 modification kit (see photo below) converted a 5T1 to "nearly" a 5T1A.
