The Tektronix AM502 is a differential amplifier plug-in for the TM500 system.

The differential amplifier design is a variant of the 1A7A circuit, also used with modifications in the 3A9, 7A22, 5A22N, and 5030/5031 (26A2 too?).

Gain ×1 to ×1000 (÷ 100 mode) / ×100 to ×100,000 in 1–2–5 sequence, variable to min. ×2.5 calibrated setting
Input impedance 1 MΩ // 47 pF (either input)
Input voltage 15 V DC+peak AC up to 5 MHz, 350 V DC+peak AC up to 5 MHz in ÷ 100 mode
Common mode ±5 V, ±50 V in ÷ 100 mode
DC offset ±1 V
Noise typ. 6 nV/√Hz above 1 kHz (Norm mode)
Output voltage ±5 V into ≥250 Ω
