The Tektronix 182 is an angle-encoding transducer for use with the 183 rotational analyzer. The 182B appears in the 1961 catalog.
The Tektronix 182A and 183A were furnished as a matched set, since the calibration of the 182A was part of the 183A. This was changed in the 182B and 183B series, so the 182B / 183B rotational analyzer pair are completely interchangeable with the 182A / 183A pair. Consequently, "A" series and "B" series models may not be mixed.
The cable between the 182 and 183 uses Amphenol 165 series connectors.
