The Intel 2102 (Tek P/N 156-0291-00) is a 1k×1 static RAM in a 16-pin DIP, introduced in 1972.

It is an NMOS part requiring a single +5 V supply.

It has separate data input and output pins. Access time is 500 ns. Faster versions were produced later, and other manufacturers second-sourced the part.

Note

Apparently, Intel used production lot numbers on their chips until 1975/1976 before switching to the usual year/week date codes.
