The Tektronix 2232 is a 100 MHz digital + analog scope with a dual time base. It effectively replaced the 2230 in 1990.

Improvements over the 2230 included quintupled sample rate (100 MS/s), graticule illumination, trigger level readout, 20 MHz bandwidth limiting available in DSO mode, NVRAM to store configuration and waveforms, "smooth" mode when using peak detection, a faster CPU, and a more modern user interface making use of five function keys under the CRT.

Key Specifications

Bandwidth 100 MHz analog (80 MHz in 2 mV/div), switchable 20 MHz limit
Sampling rate 100 MS/s
Record length 1024 or 4096 samples
Deflection 2 mV/div to 5 V/div, 1−2−5
