The Tektronix AM511 is a CATV pre-amplifier plug-in for the TM500 system.

It is designed to operate as an accessory for the 7L12 and 7L13 Spectrum Analyzers, intended for measuring-signal-to noise, radiation, and field intensity on CATV, television, and FM installations. Other uses include radio-system servicing and measurements, as well as increasing sensitivity for EMI measurements.
