The Tektronix 4002 (aka T4002) was the first graphics terminal offered by Tektronix. It was announced in December 1968 at a price of $8,800 (~$78,000 in 2024 dollars) and introduced in 1969.

It uses a 611 storage monitor which has a direct-view storage tube with a 8¼" × 6½" visible area. In vector mode, the 4002 offers a 400×300 resolution (1024×1024 addressable).

Alphanumeric capacity is 80 columns × 35 lines. The character generator includes 94 ASCII symbols in two sizes.

The 4002 was updated as the 4002A in 1971, and succeeded by the very successful 4010 series starting in 1972.
