7000-series remote control connector

The remote control connector is common for early 7000-series scopes.

It is an Amphenol 165-16 socket found on the rear of the 7503/7504, 7514, and 7704 scopes (connector J1075), and the 7904 (connector J90).

Pin Function Notes
A Single sweep reset Close to ground within 0.5 V, 10 mA max, minimum 10 μs pulse width
B Ground
C A Remote ready +5 V via 47 Ω when active, can drive #49 bulb
D B Remote ready (*) +5 V via 47 Ω when active, can drive #49 bulb
E Remote readout lock-out (**) Close to ground within 0.1 V, 2 mA max, 2 V open voltage
F Remote single-shot lock-out (**) Closure to ground within 0.4 V, pin E was grounded before, rate of change ≥ 0.1 V/μs, 3 mA max, 10 V open voltage
H Upper screen remote erase (***) Closure to ground within 0.4 V, rate of change at least 1 V/μs
J Lower screen remote erase (***) Closure to ground within 0.4 V, rate of change at least 1 V/μs
K Remote write thru (***) Closure to ground within 0.4 V, rate of change at least 1 V/μs
