The Tektronix M154  (P/N 155-0154-00) is a display multiplexer monolithic integrated circuit in a 20-pin DIP, designed by Harvey Golladay.

It transmits one of three sets of 2-channel (X, Y) inputs (hardcopy, alphanumeric mode or vector mode) selected by 2 input bits (A, B).

A counter sequences through eight offset positions each time a "page" (erase) signal is received.

These offsets are added to the X and Y inputs to uniformly exercise the phosphor on all parts of the screen.
