The Tektronix 178 Linear IC Test Fixture is a plug-in fixture module for the 577 curve tracer, designed for testing opamps and voltage regulators.

Measurements made with the 178 are done with the device under test operating closed-loop, in contrast to most other curve tracer measurements in which the device under test operates open-loop.
