The Tektronix 650 is an NTSC color video monitor with a Trinitron tube, introduced in 1971. Suffix -1 versions have additional RGB inputs. From 1978 on, the 650HR offered 50% higher resolution through an improved Trinitron SD-97 tube and extended bandwidth.

Sister models: 651 (PAL), 652 (PAL-M), 654 (RGB), 655 (NTSC/PAL), 656 (SECAM), 658 (NTSC/PAL-M), 659 (PAL/PAL-M)

(PAL monitors are for 625 lines / 50 Hz systems with 4.43 MHz color sub-carrier. PAL-M monitors are for 525 lines / 60 Hz systems with 3.575 MHz color sub-carrier.)
