C. Calvin Hongel (? – d. Aug 7, 1998) was an engineer at Tektronix who designed the P6042.
Cliff Moulton's circa-1961 paper on sampling credits him with contributions to the instruments mentioned (576, 3S76, 3T77).
The 1961 Instrument Engineering organigram lists him in Cliff Moulton's group in Instrument Design.
