this is my user page! i'm mostly going to list/cover the Tek equipment i own, or have other direct access and familiarity with from friends or colleagues.

a brief about me, to get this parasocial relationship started: I am currently, as of 05:23, 18 June 2024 (PDT) anyway, a PhD student studying computer science and adjacent fields at the University at Buffalo, and happen to find myself interested in vintage amateur radio and related test equipment, hence, why i am here.

this unit came to me in impeccable condition, with it's documentation likewise. notably, i acquired both the 91HS8 "master interface card" and cabinet, which i am in the process of documenting on that page. I was also able to find in the documentation given to me, the Operator's Manual Addendum (backup here) for that module, which as far as i could tell, did not exist in a digital format publicly on the internet. suffice to say, it does now, and is on that page! if anyone notices missing documentation for this system, feel free to reach out and i would be happy to take a look through what i have to preserve it.

not much to say here, as far as i can test it works well. it came with the acquisition probe and word recognizer probe, i'm looking to get my hands on the right angle passive 10X probe for completeness, it also has it's original operators manual booklet.

i have the rack mount version, with two 5A15N amplifiers and one 5B12N dual time base.

everything here works but the scale light bulbs, as far as i can test.
