The Tektronix 3T4 is a sampling sweep plug-in for 560-series scopes that is remotely programmable, allowing computer-controlled measurements of high-speed repetitive waveforms. It interfaces with a 6R1A plug-in in a Type 567 scope. It was introduced in 1965.
The 283 real-time adapter enables real-time sweeps with a 3T4.
Key Specifications
- please add
The equivalent-time sweep rate ranges from 1 ns/div to 200 μs/div. There is a 10x calibrated horizontal magnification mode that can be selected, providing 100 ps/div horizontal scale. maximum trigger frequency is 1 GHz.
The sweep can be controlled by the staircase ramp generator in the 3T4, manually by a front-panel knob, or remotely by a control voltage sent to the 3T4.
The remotely programmable functions are
- Equivalent-time sweep rate
- Delay time
- Samples per sweep
- Normal or single-display mode
- Single-display start
