The Tektronix 7104 is a 1 GHz mainframe that takes 7000-series plug-ins, two vertical and two horizontal. A typical configuration would be two 7A29 vertical amplifiers plus a 7B15 and a 7B10 time base.
The scope employs a micro-channel plate CRT design to get good screen intensity at high sweep speeds with moderate acceleration voltage.
