Block diagram

The Tektronix M152B  (P/N 155-0152-01) is a geometry and focus correction monolithic integrated circuit packaged in a 16-pin DIP.

It is designed to appropriately pre-distort X and Y signals before they are applied to the deflection coils of a CRT, in such a way as to eliminate "pincushion" distortion. It also provides a signal to correct for spot de-focusing that occurs away from the screen's center.
