Tektronix used the 204 designation for two slightly different carts based on the 202 body throughout its history:
Originally introduced in the 1961 catalog, the 204 was a 202 with 500-series plugin holder, later renamed 202-2.
In 1970 it was reintroduced as the 204-2 − a tilt-lock scope cart for wide (4-bay) 7000-series scopes. It was still based on the 202 cart body but now added the scope locking bar and has a compartment for storing up to five single-width 7000-series plug-ins, and a drawer for probes. The 204-3 is a cost reduced version, omitting the drawer and plugin storage.
