The SH3 aka SHFIII bipolar linear analog circuit process was introduced for the high-speed ICs in the 7104.
SH3/SHFIII stands for "super high 3". Providing transit frequencies of 6-7 GHz, it was an improvement on SH2, and succeeded by SHPi.
