John Gates
John Gates (? – ?) is an electrical engineer who joined Tektronix in 1960 from Hickok, where he had worked on that company's clones of Tek 535 and 543 scopes.
Gates designed (or contributed significantly to) the following instruments:
He led the Sony/Tektronix development team that developed the first product in this partnership, the 323 miniature oscilloscope.
