The Tektronix 5B25N is a "digitizer time base" for the 5223 scope, i.e. a time base that also contains a sample clock generator. It will also operate in 5400-series mainframes as a generic time base. The 5B25N/5223 system uses real-time sampling at sweep rates of 0.1 ms/div or slower. At sweep rates of 50 μs/div or faster, equivalent-time sampling is used. The 5B25N uses the 155-0109-01 trigger chip (U95).
