The Tektronix 4010 is a graphics terminal introduced in 1972, based on an 11" direct-view storage tube.
It succeeded the 4002 model from 1969 and founded the very successful 4010 family that also includes the 11" 4012/4013 (1973) that added lowercase characters, the 19" 4014/4015 (1974), and the 25" 4016 (1979).
4010 series commands were widely emulated in third-party products.
The 4010 displays vectors on a 1024×780 resolution raster.
The 4010-1 variant includes circuitry that allows the stored image to be printed using a 4610 hard copy unit.
