The Tektronix 11402 is a digitizing oscilloscope that accepts three 11000-series plugins and has a built-in time base.

It supports up to 8 input channels (e.g. 2 * 11A34) and uses equivalent-time digitizing for repetitive source signals.

The 11403 is the same as the 11402A but with a color screen.

Project manager for the 11400 series was Tom Rousseau, assistant project manager and person responsible for the touch panel and display was Murlan Kaufman.

Key Specifications

Bandwidth 1 GHz
Trigger bandwidth 1 GHz
Vertical resolution 10 bits (14 bits with averaging)
Sampling rate up to 20 MS/s
Recording length 512 to 10240 points
CRT 9" monochrome, touch screen
Features
  • Statistics
  • Advanced Waveform Processing: differentiate, integrate, interpolate, smooth, average, envelope
  • Arithmetic Operators: add, subtract, multiply, divide, square root, log, exponentiate, absolute value, signum
  • Dual Independent Time Bases
  • Menu-based, touch-screen front panel
  • Programmable over GPIB and RS-232 interfaces

The 11402 uses the 156-2622-00 SDI controller IC (U330).

Options

  • 1C: Loop-through BNCs
