Al Zimmerman in 1961

Henry Allen “Al” Zimmerman (b. August 5, 1937 in Sabetha, KS – ?) got his BS in Electrical Engineering from Harvard in 1959 and MS in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley in 1961. He started at Tektronix in July 1961. He led the Sampling Group at Tektronix starting in the early 1960s.

Personal

Al Zimmerman was married to Emily Jo Berry and they had three kids: Berry in 1958, Bruce in 1960, and JoLynne in 1964. They divorced around 1983. He remarried Eileen Harrington in 1986. They divorced around 1997. He remarried Lila Lee around 1999. They divorced around 2010.
