The Tektronix 067-1137-99 is a GPIB-to-accessory controller plug-in for the TM500 system.
It connects to a non-programmable 492 series spectrum analyzer through the analyzer's accessory connector, disables the analyzer's internal processor, and substitutes this with its own CPU and GPIB interface.
The 067-1137-99 can emulate a 492P or 496P instrument, with corresponding ROM sets selected by a front-panel switch.
It contains a Motorola 6802 microprocessor, Motorola 6821 PIA, TMS9914 GPIB controller, 44K ROM and 3K RAM.
It was used in production and maintenance to perform automatic GPIB controlled testing and alignment of non-programmable (non P) 49X instruments. The instrument came with a tape for 4050-series computers.
