The Tektronix CG551AP is a programmable calibration generator plug-in for the TM500 system.

It was introduced prior to the TM5000 series and therefore requires a modified TM504 Mod UB, TM506 Mod JB, TM515 Mod UB or RTM506 Mod JB enclosure for GPIB connectivity. The TM5000 version of this instrument is the CG5001.

It uses external heads, the 015-0310-01 Comparator Head and the 015-0311-01 Programmable Pulse Head, which attach through LEMO S-series connectors.

The CG551AP has a remote control accessory, the 015-0309-01.
