The Tektronix Type O is a letter-series plug-in that contains two op-amps. It was designed by Hiro Moriyasu. It was introduced in mid-1962 and was available through 1973.
The input and feedback networks of the op-amps can be configured from the front panel using knobs and/or user-supplied components. There are sockets on the front panel for banana plugs.
Type O also has a regular signal input that does not involve the op-amps. A mode switch selects which op-amp's output will be displayed, or the regular signal input.
The Type O can be used with the included 013-0049-01 blank covers, a custom feedback network connected externally or built into a 013-0048-01 adapter box, a 013-081 compensating adapter to increase its bandwidth, a 013-068 Gating Adapter, a 013-0086-00 Leakage Current Adapter, or a 013-0067-00 Logarithmic Amplifier.
